European Pear Rust - Gymnosporangium sabinae

Early symptoms are yellow to orange yellow leaf discoloration. Later columnar form, with ripped spore bearing (aecia) are shown. a Control is not necessary. You can remove the intermediate host (juniper) in the environment. The infestation in spring is to to detect red, slimy threads at the bottom of the green.
